I think that all these new devices and new technologies can be used productively when used seriously and with care. What is missing, however, are home circles, especially in the United States. I'm worried that those who truly are seekers of phenomenal evidence will lose the human touch, along with their sensitivity and basic mediumship skills. Perhaps the next step in this ever-changing world will be robots to do the search and evidence-finding for us. I would be saddened by this. Tell me what you think.
Hi, all of you phenomenal evidence seekers. We are in a Brave New World, but different from the one that George Orwell envisioned. From the early days of Modern Spiritualism in America when demonstrations were given both privately and in large meeting halls, much has changed with the advent of modern electronics and communications devices. Land-line phones are becoming obsolete, and photography from smartphones and tablets is ubiquitous. There are scores of individual ghost hunters and ghost-hunting groups using sophisticated equipment to try to capture images and voices of those in Spirit.

Hi, Yes I have found the home circle becoming less important. With TV shows and YouTube being used to view unusual happenings resulting in a mixed message to the public. Needing first person contact is always more worthwhile than watching something at a distance. It just looses something. Will... here's to you and the department for keeping this evidence available to everyone.

Yes, we need more home circles, but we also need paranormal groups to film and to use equipment to gather the data around a paranormal event. Often what goes on just before and just after an event is just as important. It helps build the framework about what occurred. Paranormal team members basically have the same belief system as Spiritualists. Contacting your local paranormal group will help do outreach as well as save you thousands in spending for your own equipment, not to mention the training. Having an outside team monitor the circles will also be objective. Contact me if you'd like to contact a paranormal team in your area.
